Using Lucid Dreaming to Treat PTSD Nightmares



Incredible new study shows decreased posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms following a lucid dream healing workshop.


49 people with chronic PTSD nightmares took a 6-week online lucid dreaming course from British lucid dream teacher Charlie Morley. 76% of the participants had at least one lucid dream during the study period and half were albe to enact a healing dream as intended. Overall results showed a signifcant redution in self-reported PTSD symptoms as well as reduced nightmare distress, improved well-being and affect. According to Morley, this is "abreakthrough in trauma treatment".
